OUGD603 / Extended Practice / Yearbook / Chasing Up Bigger Images

We got a reply from Pressision this morning, basically asking us to clarify our budget as this will affect the processes we can use. We're holding out for foil or at least the white printed ink.

Below are the Colorplan stock colours we fancy, though I'm sure cost will dictate us to not use GF Smith. I'm erring toward the warmness of Mist.

Alec mentioned a way of making the inner studio shots more interesting could be by projecting work onto the walls of the studio whilst it's dark. I liked this Idea but after looking into Jenny Holzer's typographic projections we felt that would be a better idea - avoiding the cliched quotes about course and using more engaging copy.

We've settled on, 'There's More' and 'Beneath the Surface'. Both of these can work in tandem whilst kind of saying the same thing. It's a nice way of hinting toward the work and the concept/development that goes into what at first glance might be something quite simple.

Another thing we've been doing today is asking around (emailing) for larger / better imagery of certain pieces. We need at the very least 250dpi images of 3mb +.

Additional things to sort out. Placement of email addresses!? The most annoying aspect of the whole piece. Also awards and fore/after word.
