OUGD603 / Extended Practice / Potential Competition Briefs

Really liking a few of the YCN briefs this year.
Orchard Pig

'Deliver Orchard Pig as the craft cider equivalent of contemporary craft beer – we want to become the Notorious P.I.G.'

This appeals to me as I was planning on doing my own beer branding brief but craft cider is something that is tapped into so much less than the plethora of cool beer brands.

Royal Opera House
'Encourage culturally engaged young people aged 20-30 to experience opera for the first time.'

Love the look of this one, with a real cultural approach and room for some beautiful branding. Also a very challenging subject matter but by no means impossible.

D&AD

The Telegraph
The Telegraph wants to use digital to prove its appeal to readers of any age. How can you get them to reconsider what it offers? What ideas might turn the heads of open-minded people who are looking for a different kind of news provider? What might inspire them to try a Telegraph?
