OUGD603 / Extended Practice / Laura Farrall Brand / Copy

I'm currently working on Laura's promotional pack and we've come to a minor crossroads. Included is the business card (needs completing), postcard images (3/4), the C6 bags (bought, nice) and possibly a sticker to hold it all together.

The business card contains email & website details and perhaps a short 'Photographer' type description.

The postcards... we want a longer description / bit of copy to explain Laura's process in more detail. The decision is whether to include the description on the back of the postcards or to explore alternatives...

Here' the text Laura's provided me with:

'Laura Farrall is a Leeds based photographer specialising in automotive machines and the connections people have to the supposedly inanimate machines. Mostly she works with analogue photography preferring the traditional approach and more humanistic feel of the prints. A lot of her work looks at transporting you to a different time or place and how this can be achieved by photography.'

It's a long section of text and i'd be tempted to cut this down as much as possible. The alternatives - to printing large amounts of text on each postcard I alluded to earlier - would be screen-printing on the bag (very exciting idea!) or including another piece of card within the pack (not ideal).

I'll try and cut down the text LAura gave me and then mock it up onto the bag, imagining it overlaying each image.
