As the previous post mentions, we're both really happy with this logo! As such I took it into Illustrator and started tweaking until it just sort of ... worked better.
The two starting points above are good but needed refining and basically making good and gridded.
Here I've extended the lines into the form of the L which gives the piece more cohesion and balance.
I then added the distinct dot to the bottom of the logo too again balancing and refining the mark into something just... right.
Finally I did the same with the logotype mark, adding the little dots and making the two logos tie together as one, even when used differently.
Next to think about colour and application.
