Spent some time refining and adding to the initial letterforms that I came up with, based around a 4x18 grid (though through experimentation I ran into problems with this). There's a few troublesome glyphs, V, X, Y & Z which required a three dot grid in order to get to a 'point'. I'm not happy with this dis-continuity and will continue working to refine the letters from the 4x grid.
The glyphs work well and are probably more legible in this format (but don't fit the brief and wouldn't conduct the current.
Below are the glyphs arranged into the potential name of the project 'Wall of Sound'. I think there's something working well here. It's conveying the piano keys well and also hinting at circuit boards and conductivity.
