Experimental Jetset's book Statement and Counter-Statement is a big influence in terms of getting vibrant exciting work down onto the page with little in the way of intrusive information. It conveys experimental jetset and what it feels like to be in that studio.
I actually really love the dimensions of the book, being much smaller than what you'd expect for a portfolio piece. The size constraints make the full bleed images work well... why would they be smaller than that?
Below, the centre pages show a large amount of text put into the centre section - a really nice way to break up the messy melange throughout the rest of the book. Big messy collages are great until you get bored of them. A section like this would be great to include profiles / email addresses.
The publication then turns over and returns to great spreads full of colour, overlays and typography.
