OUGD603 / Extended Practice / Yearbook / Cover Tests

Trying possible screenprint cover examples after a chat with Alec. We decided that there should be an extra element to the cover - tying together the inside and all it's ripped pieces of work with a rough exterior. The end result should be a nice balance between clean typesetting and rough, found imagery.

These are different blending methods put over the cover simply to see the different reactions of colour and type. Something like below works best when imagined as white ink from a screen print. The ink shouldn't interfere with the debossed names below but this needs testing.

Quite like how this stretches over the cover and onto the back, suggesting the freedom and un-uniformity of the whole book. A little peek round the back would work nicely. However, this would not be possible to screenprint onto the 'finished' booklets - instead it would have to be digitally printed and then foiled onto.
